How to Play

Let's start, exceptionally, at the end: this version keeps score. At the end of each successful game, two scores are presented: the one you just achieved and the best score of the current session. This variant is therefore suitable both for practice and for a competitive approach.

This solitaire game is played with the 52 cards of a standard deck. Twenty-eight cards are placed face down, overlapping, to form a tableau of seven vertical columns: one card in the first, two in the second, then three, and so on. The bottom card of each column is turned face up. The remaining 24 cards form the stock, which you go through multiple times during the game.

Objective and Game Progression

• You form sequences in descending order, without interruption.
• Red and black cards alternate in the tableau columns.
• Only fully visible cards can be moved.
• Face-down cards that are freed are turned over and become playable.
• When a column is completely emptied, only a King (or a sequence beginning with a King) can be placed there.
• When no more moves are available on the tableau, draw from the stock. Cards are revealed one at a time or in groups of three depending on the chosen variant. In draw-three mode, only the top card of the visible draw pile can be played. The stock can be gone through multiple times.
• Once all foundations are completed from Ace to King, the cards leave the board one by one and the final score is displayed. The game is lost if neither the stock nor the tableau allows a valid move.
